A month after the 1.0 launch, Pocketpair released update 1.0.3 on August 12, 2026. No new content and no Pal stat changes, but several adjustments that directly affect how you build.
Technologies unlock far earlier
- The Aquatic Construction Kit moves from level 66 to level 23, its Ancient Technology Point cost drops from 4 to 1, and both its materials and work amount were reduced. Building on water becomes a mid-game option rather than an endgame one.
- Jetragon-related technologies move from level 79 to level 70, and the materials needed for the Pal Gear used to ride Jetragon have been reduced.
World Tree: more generous holy water
World Tree Holy Water gets a longer duration and its weight drops from 1 to 0.1, which changes inventory management entirely. It has also been added to the rewards for World Tree expeditions, World Tree fishing and the Large Fishing Pond. The amount obtained from Pals in the World Tree area and from Teafant Spring was increased as well.
And before that: 1.0.2
Released on July 29, version 1.0.2 was a stability-focused hotfix: reduced processing load in the Sunreach area, fixes for disconnects and crashes during the Panthalus fight on dedicated servers, and a fix for the Victor & Shadowbeak tower boss disappearing after a teleport attack.
No Pal, stat or drop rate was changed by either update: your saves and schematics remain perfectly valid. Our construction and item pages will be realigned with the new tiers at the next game data extraction.
