The Palworld 1.0 map

The 1.0 release hugely expands the Palworld world: beyond the Palpagos archipelago, you explore Feybreak, the Sunreach Sky Islands and the endgame World Tree. Here is how to reach them and what awaits.

Sky Islands: Sunreach

Sunreach is the set of floating islands added in 1.0. You cannot fly up to it from the surface: the only way in is a portal. First you need to be strong enough (around level 58) to beat the Feybreak Tower Boss.

  • 1Defeat the Feybreak Tower Boss, Bjorn & Bastigor, in the south-west of the map (coordinates ~ -1294, -1669).
  • 2An Altar opens south-west of the tower. Interact with it to teleport up to Sunreach.
  • 3Once there, hop between islands using the teleport altars, or glide with the Wing Pack (a new 1.0 glider gear that takes no Pal party slot). Purple orbs teleport you to a random spot.
  • 4At the center stands the level 68 Tower Boss, Auri & Shaolong. Disable the 6 Defense Modules to clear the whirlwind around it.

Recommended around level 69-70: enemies here are much stronger than in earlier regions.

The World Tree

The World Tree is the endgame region, source of Mythical Wood and World Tree Holy Water.

  • 1Defeat every Tower Boss across Palpagos, Feybreak and Sunreach.
  • 2Head to the tiny Deserted Islet near (-814, -824): an NPC with a big hat and a huge backpack gives you the Panthalus quest and the Echoing Flute schematic.
  • 3Capture a Panthalus and use it at the Altar together with a Whalaska to cross the barrier.

Farming Mythical Wood and Holy Water

Get Holy Water by touching the Teafant Springs scattered across the map (10 each); enemies in the region also drop it, along with Ancient Relics. To harvest Mythical Wood, drink a vial of Holy Water (it applies to you and your active Pal): nearby trees become farmable for a short window. Without Holy Water, the trees vanish as you approach.

Tip: some Pals with dedicated passives (World Tree Seedbed, Hermit Sage...) can harvest Mythical Wood safely, without using Holy Water.
