Pay Day Guide
Pay Day is a move that generates bonus money on each use. Combined with the Amulet Coin and Riches Charm, it becomes a highly profitable passive method for farming PokeDollars.
Mechanics
- Pay Day earns 5x the user Pokemon's level per use (not the opponent's level).
- The Pay Day bonus is separate from the normal battle payout. It is added on top.
- Amulet Coin is a consumable activated from your inventory (not a held item). It gives x1.5 earnings for 1 hour.
- Riches Charm (75% and 100%) are cash shop items that boost battle earnings.
- The Pay Day bonus is multiplied by both Amulet Coin AND Riches Charm. Both stack with Pay Day.
Best Pokemon for Pay Day
Only a few Pokemon can learn Pay Day. The best choice by far is Persian at level 100.

Persian at level 100 generates 500 $ per Pay Day use. With Amulet Coin (x1.5), it goes up to 750 $ per use. Thunderbolt and Water Pulse provide coverage.
Meowth - Alternative if you don't have Persian yet
Meowth learns Pay Day naturally at level 30. It is weaker than Persian but works until you evolve it. Use a Moon Stone to evolve into Persian.

Tips & Tricks
- Use PP Max on Pay Day to increase its PP to 32 (instead of 20). Essential for long sessions.
- Use Sweet Scent to trigger horde encounters: 5 Pokemon = 5 Pay Day uses = 5x the earnings.
- Combine with Thief on another Pokemon to steal items from wild Pokemon at the same time.
- In hordes, use Pay Day on each Pokemon before KOing them to maximize the bonus.
- Activate your Amulet Coin right before starting to farm, not during preparation.
- Silk Scarf boosts Pay Day damage (Normal type) by 20%, helping to one-shot weak wild Pokemon.
