Lunara or Helion: which starter to pick?
After the tutorial, Aniimo asks you to choose between two Holy creatures, and the choice is permanent. Good news: neither is stronger than the other. Their stats are strictly identical. What changes is how you play.
The short answer
- Lunara if you like ranged damage, managing marks and healing yourself as you attack. Her skills are magic.
- Helion if you prefer melee, diving into the fight and hitting several enemies at once. His skills are physical.
The stats are identical
No point looking for the better one on paper: the values from the official pages are exactly the same, down to the last point.
| Stat | Lunara | Helion |
|---|---|---|
| Total | 504 | 504 |
| HP | 90 | 90 |
| Attack | 116 | 116 |
| P. DEF | 65 | 65 |
| M. DEF | 65 | 65 |
| BREAK | - | - |
| REGEN | 83 | 83 |
Both are Holy element, DPS role, with the same mobility (Hustle, a sprint that drains stamina).
What really differs: the trait
Both share the same base bonus: +20% final damage when you are not attacking with an advantageous element. The rest differs, and it shapes two opposite combat rhythms.
| Starter | Trait | How it plays |
|---|---|---|
| Lunara | Lunar Power | Every skill or Ultimate grants 4 stacks of Silver Moon Mark. Each basic attack consumes one, deals 100% extra damage and restores 0.5% of your HP. A "cast a skill, then chain four boosted attacks" loop, with built-in healing. |
| Helion | Solar Grace | Every 4 basic attacks grants a Solar Halo that enhances your next skill. The loop is reversed: hit in melee to charge, then land an empowered skill. |
Lunara The moon fox: ranged and magic

| Lunar Eclipse | - | - | - | Pours moonlight power onto the target, dealing heavy extra BREAK damage. |

The questions everyone asks
- Can you change your mind later? No. Based on the beta, the choice is permanent for that character. To try the other one, you need a new character.
- Can you get the other one later? Nothing official on that yet. We will update this page at launch.
- What about evolution? Each evolves through its ultimate: Lunara becomes Fennelun (Selene's Judgment) and Helion becomes Soleon (Helios' Judgment).
- Does it lock you out of anything? No: your starter is just one team member. You will quickly catch other Aniimo, including Emberpup, to cover the elements you lack.
