Strategy
Hippowdon is the top Stealth Rock setter of the Reg M-B singles ladder. Its huge bulk, pure Ground typing and the permanent Sandstorm from Sand Stream let it wall a large chunk of the metagame while wearing down switch-ins with rocks, sand chip and Yawn-forced switches. Earthquake is reliable STAB, Yawn threatens sleep to force progress, and Slack Off keeps it topped up through long grindy games. Tera Fairy patches its Dragon weakness and blanks Fighting/Bug/Dark attacks that would otherwise punch through.
