Strategy
Tinkaton's role on the current Reg M-B singles ladder is a bulky hazard-setter and disruptor rather than a sweeper. Mold Breaker lets Stealth Rock go up through Magic Bounce users and lets Knock Off strip items even from Pokemon with ability-based item immunities. Encore is the key tech: it locks opposing setup sweepers or status users into a useless move, giving Tinkaton a free turn to hazard-stack or pivot the momentum back to its team. Gigaton Hammer is the STAB attack of choice since it cannot be used twice in a row, but its 160 base power still punishes anything that stays in. The Careful nature with a bulky HP/Def/SpD spread (Air Balloon to dodge a Ground-type revenge kill) lets it tank both physical and special hits long enough to reset hazards or Encore multiple times per game, and Tera Flying removes its Ground and Fighting weaknesses so it can safely block Earthquake/Close Combat users that would otherwise threaten it out immediately.
