The Global Trade Link (GTL) is PokeMMO's marketplace. Learn how to buy and sell to generate consistent profits.
GTL Basics
The GTL is PokeMMO's auction house and marketplace. You can buy and sell Pokemon, items and cosmetics.
- Access: requires at least 4 badges in any region.
- Listing fee: 2% of the sale price (deducted automatically).
- Use search filters (type, nature, IVs, price) to find good deals.
- You can buy instantly or place an offer on existing listings.
Flipping Strategy
Flipping means buying underpriced Pokemon or items and reselling them for more. It is the most profitable trading method.
- Buy low, sell high: the golden rule of flipping.
- Watch new listings for underpriced Pokemon.
- Best times: buy on weekdays (lower prices), sell on weekends (more players, higher prices).
- Risk management: never invest all your money in a single purchase.

A Pokemon's price mainly depends on its IVs, nature, ability and egg moves.
- IVs matter most: each perfect 31 IV adds value exponentially.
- Nature: correct nature = 2-3x price vs wrong nature.
- Ability: hidden abilities or competitive abilities command a premium.
- Egg moves: popular egg moves add value.

Trading Tips
- Track prices over time to spot trends and good deals.
- Focus on popular PvP Pokemon: they always sell well.
- Don't hold inventory too long: prices can drop quickly.
- Diversify your investments: don't put everything into one species or category.
